Underground Art is Marin’s secret gem. Jolene is the most nurturing, caring, supportive teacher I have ever met. Her whole heart is in it for the kids and you can tell how special of a community she builds by the kids faces at pick up. They are always glowing with happiness. Underground Art Marin has become a haven for our 7 year old daughter. She started attending when she was 5 years old and it’s been amazing to watch her interest and confidence in art blossom as a result. Jolene is caring, responsible and encouraging. She’s introduced our daughter to so many exciting techniques (most recently, printmaking) and incredible artists (Yayoi Kusama and Armi Ratia of Marimekko have become some of our daughter’s favorites as a result). After a day of playing and creating with friends in such a nurturing environment, my daughter comes home happy, engaged and with armloads of gorgeous work.
